Valueverse FZE – LLC ("ValueVerse", "we", "us") is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. We process it in accordance with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data of the United Arab Emirates (the "PDPL") and the decisions issued under it.
Our registered office is in the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, United Arab Emirates. This is not a financial free zone, so the federal PDPL applies to our processing rather than the separate regimes of the DIFC or ADGM.
Effective date: 19 August 2026.
1. Who we are
| Controller | Valueverse FZE – LLC |
| Address | Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, United Arab Emirates |
| E-mail for data protection matters | dkraev@valueverse.tech |
| Telephone | +971 50 270 2240 |
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer. Our processing is limited to business enquiries, does not involve systematic large-scale monitoring, sensitive data or high-risk technologies, and therefore does not meet the conditions in Article 10 of the PDPL under which appointment is required. Enquiries about data protection are handled at the address above.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to personal data we collect through this website. It does not apply to our engineering platform at lab.valueverse.tech, which requires a separate account and is governed by its own terms, nor to any third-party website we link to.
3. What we collect
Data you provide. When you submit the enquiry form: your name, e-mail address, telephone number, company name and the content of your message. Only the name, e-mail address and message are required; the remaining fields are optional.
Data collected with the submission. Your IP address, the browser user-agent string, the interface language and the time of submission. We record these to detect automated abuse and to enforce the limit of five enquiries per hour from one address.
Cookies. Six first-party cookies, described in full in our Cookie Policy. There is no analytics, no advertising technology and no third-party cookie on this website.
We do not collect the sensitive personal data defined in Article 1 of the PDPL, and we ask you not to include such data in your message.
4. Why we process it, and on what basis
| Purpose | Basis under Article 4 of the PDPL |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry, preparing a proposal, scoping engineering work | Processing necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract |
| Protecting the website and preventing automated abuse | Our legitimate interest, which does not prejudice your rights or freedoms |
| Remembering the language and appearance you selected | Processing necessary to deliver the interface in the form you requested |
| Remembering that the opening animation has been shown | Your consent, given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time |
| Keeping correspondence where retention is required by law | Compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject |
We do not use your data for marketing, we do not profile you, and we take no decision about you based solely on automated processing.
5. Who else sees it
We do not sell personal data and we do not disclose it for the marketing purposes of others.
Your enquiry is accessible to our own engineering and commercial staff. Two service providers act on our instructions as processors under written agreements meeting Article 8 of the PDPL: the provider that operates the server on which the enquiry is stored, and the mail provider that delivers our internal notification. Neither is permitted to use the data for any purpose of its own.
We disclose personal data to a public authority only where a UAE law or a binding order requires it.
6. Transfers outside the UAE
Our hosting and mail infrastructure may be operated from data centres outside the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data leaves the country, the transfer is made on one of the bases permitted by Articles 22 and 23 of the PDPL: a destination recognised by the UAE Data Office as offering an adequate level of protection, a contract binding the recipient to standards equivalent to the PDPL, or your explicit consent to the specific transfer.
7. How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Enquiries and correspondence | 24 months from our last exchange with you |
| IP address and user-agent recorded with the submission | 12 months |
| Records relating to a concluded contract | The period required by the applicable commercial and tax legislation |
At the end of these periods the data is deleted from the live database and from backups on their normal rotation.
8. How we protect it
As required by Article 20 of the PDPL, we apply measures proportionate to the risk: encrypted transport, password-protected administrative access separated from the public site, storage on a server that grants the application no privileges beyond its own data directory, and protection of the enquiry form against automated submission.
If a breach occurs that is likely to prejudice the confidentiality, security or privacy of your data, we notify the UAE Data Office without undue delay, and we notify you directly where the breach is likely to cause you serious harm, in accordance with Article 9 of the PDPL.
9. Your rights
Articles 13 to 19 of the PDPL give you the right to:
- be informed how your data is processed, and to obtain a copy of it;
- receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format, and to have it transmitted to another controller where technically feasible;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- have your data erased, except where we must retain it to comply with a legal obligation or to establish or defend a legal claim;
- restrict processing while a dispute about accuracy or lawfulness is resolved;
- object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest;
- object to decisions based solely on automated processing. We take no such decisions.
10. How to use these rights
Write to dkraev@valueverse.tech. We answer within the period set by the PDPL and the decisions issued under it. If we cannot identify you from the request, we will ask for the minimum additional information needed to do so, and we will use it for no other purpose.
Where processing rests on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time — for cookies, through the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawal is as easy as consent and does not affect the lawfulness of what was done before it.
11. Children
This website addresses engineering and procurement professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
12. Complaints
If you consider that we have processed your data in breach of the PDPL, you may complain to the UAE Data Office, established by Federal Decree-Law No. 44 of 2021: uaedataoffice.gov.ae. We ask you to raise the matter with us first, so that we have the chance to put it right.
13. Changes
When this policy changes, the new version and its effective date replace the text on this page. Where a change materially affects your rights, we announce it on the website before it takes effect.
14. Language
This policy is issued in English. Where it appears in another language and the two differ, the English text prevails.
